Painted timber slip Encased in alloy

This frame has been used by artist Ralph Wilson as well as many other local artists for over 15 years. Ralph chooses this particular frame for his work not just because of the neat contemporary look but also for its strong durable combination that fits well in all sorts of interiors. Artists who have used this frame also consistently comment on how its stronger structure stands up to the rigours of gallery stockrooms and the transportation process. The inner timber slip can be finished in a number of ways and comes in 2 widths.

Classic Museum Grade Framing

This style of framing is our most used for work on paper. All the materials are archival, guaranteeing a frame life of 99 years or more. The timber frame can be finished in a number of ways including a clear, dark and light stain or painted. The Work is mounted on archival rag mat and covered by museum grade UV blocking acrylic. The wood frame comes in two dimensions of 40 x 20 or 40 x 40 with a white spacer that can be sized to suit the piece.

Timber Float Frame

This frame is usually used with canvas work mounted on stretches. Timber comes in various dimensions and the finishes can be clear, light, dark or painted.
